Tom Conroy
is a New Englander who has worked in both the public and private sectors.
He lives with his wife and four daughters in Wayland where he is active
in his church and youth athletics. Tom is currently employed as a senior
vice president of Marsh, Inc., an international risk management solutions
firm.
Tom received a BA from Yale, an MA in International Trade and Economics

the public sector for nearly ten years where he managed a refugee resettlement
program in Southeast Asia for the U.S. State Department, conducted military
budget analyses for a Washington think tank, wrote speeches for Senator
Gary Hart, and served as a foreign policy and national security assistant
for Senator Barbara Mikulski (D-MD).
Tom has worked in the private sector in Massachusetts for the last ten

health and social service agencies maximized their revenues and were
able to manage their finances in better terms under Tom’s leadership.
Conroy also worked at Mercer Management Consulting where his management
expertise and innovation improved operations and developed growth strategies
for several firms. He now works at Marsh, Inc. where he develops risk
management solutions for the ongoing strategic, financial, and operational
challenges with which many large firms face.
Tom serves on the board of a nonprofit foundation promoting reading

Wayland girls’ intramural soccer commissioner, and coaches a soccer
team that includes his nine-year old triplet daughters.
